Meet Our Team
Connected by our passion and preservation of the arts.
Growing up, our founder, Martel Rudd, always had a passion for the arts. However, like many young people, he struggled to find consistent outlets or opportunities to express and develop his creative talents. While there are countless programs and centers dedicated to athletics, similar spaces for young artists are much harder to find. Sports teams often provide adolescents with a sense of purpose, community, and the chance to hone their skills. But not every child is drawn to athletics—many have unique talents and aspirations in creative fields that go unsupported.
In 2025, Martel Rudd is now a professional dancer with extensive experience in film production and acting. However, his journey to this career was far from easy. Growing up, he didn’t realize such a path was possible, and he lacked access to the guidance and resources that could have helped him refine his abilities. All he needed was a space to grow, learn, and be inspired.
This is why the Young Creatives Association exists: to provide young artists with the mentorship, resources, and community they need to pursue their creative dreams. We believe that every young person deserves the chance to discover their potential and build a future in the arts.
